The following photos are from a project that I did earlier this year. I wanted to capture detail that is not usually appreciated in everyday life. I chose to focus on the detail in the human eye, specifically the iris. There is incredible detail in the eye, and the best part is that every eye is different. A friend was kind enough to lend a great macro lens and helped me use the flashlight on an iPhone to light the subject. I took around 300 photos and was able to narrow that down to around 20. Here are the best from this project.
